The hotel offered stunning sea views from the room, ideal for a relaxing stay, although the presence of a dead bird outside was a bit off-putting. The location is perfect at the end of the main promenade, showcasing great potential despite some clutter issues. The dining experience was disappointing without breakfast service as advertised, leading to an unplanned extra cost for breakfast outside. A mixed experience with some notable positives and negatives.
The hotel had a very outdated room with a really old carpet and poor cleanliness issues in the bathroom. The location was excellent, with great views, but some maintenance issues were present. The service was not satisfactory, with aggressive behavior from staff. Dining experience was disappointing, and breakfast had to be paid for separately.
I couldn't have asked for a better location. The hotel owners were fantastic and made sure every detail was perfect. The easy access to Paignton harbor, seafront, and town center was a huge plus. However, the uncertainty about breakfast arrangements and the additional charges were a downside to an otherwise great stay.
